Doki-Doki

According to the Boston Globe, RP Hideki Okajima is experimenting with a new pitch. No, not the Gyroball said to have been brought over by teammate Daisuke Matsuzaka.

This "secret" pitch, called Doki-doki, has multiple translations in Japanese and can be seen in ballparks near you next month.

Okajima's stats included a nifty 2.22 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP. Those in leagues where middle relievers are useful or have Jonathan Papelbon as their closer should consider Hideki Okajima. Given an opportunity he could be equally as successful as Takashi Saito has been for the Dodgers.
