Scott Rolen, acquired from the Cardinals for Troy Glaus during the offseason, fractured his right middle finger during fielding drills Sunday and could miss the start of the season.
Halladay, McGowan and Burnett were looking forward to having Rolen's glove behind them at the hot corner this year.
Rolen is nothing more than a reserve CI at this point.
