According to Rotoworld.com, Victor Martinez suffered an injured left leg, forcing him to leave the game in just the 2nd inning. In for Martinez is Kelly Shoppach, and there is no immediate news on the severity of the injury. Thankfully for the Indians, Martinez was able to walk of the field without assistance.
Fantasy owners who invested a top 3-round pick in V-Mart are all holding their collective breaths.
Reminds me of why catchers should not be drafted so high.
