Even though, within reason, I try to avoid AL East pitchers, I've been interested to see how Jason Hammel does with his oppurtunity for the Rays these days.
So far against the Jays this evening he's only given up one hit, but that one hit was a solo bomb to Matt Stairs.
The other problem that I've seen through four innings, is that he's walked four batters and only struck out one.
The oppurtunity is there, the intrigue is there, now lets see what he can do with it as the other Rays wings are healing.
