McCann Talks Up Jurrjens

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has some tidbits on one of our favorites, Jair Jurrjens.

"Based on the reports we had, and the type of player we were giving up in Edgar Renteria, we were hoping to get a couple pieces that could help our club for a long time," Braves general manager Frank Wren said. "And Jurrjens sure looks like he can do that."

The article also includes the correct pronunciation of Jair Jurrjens, which I had been saying incorrectly over the last two months.

Pitching against the Pirates tomorrow night should give him an opportunity for an easy match up and hopefully a win.
