Smoltz Gets 3,000 Career K's
It only took eight National hitters for John Smoltz to stikeout four of them and reach the 3,000 K plateau. What a remarkable career for this longtime Brave. Hats off to Smoltzy! Induct him to Cooperstown, now!

Really cool milestone...only the 16th player in history to reach 3,000 I believe. Too bad most of the hitting milestones have been ruined due to steroids, juiced balls, over expansion, and smaller ballparks. Nice job baseball.
